DIY Project: Toddler Folding Chair and Table Revamp

Every toddler needs a table and chair that is just their size.
So naturally, I wanted my daughter to have her own custom set.

My daughter received a Disney Princess table from her Grandma's friend with no chairs.
I found a pair if chairs at the Goodwill for $3 each.

Only problem was they did not match, at all.

I then remembered a Pin I pinned on Pinterest from designformankind. She gives a detailed tutorial on how to dismantle your folding furniture, paint and cover with fabric. It was quick and quite easy. The only problem I had was purchasing spray paint with poor coverage. Which is why there is only one chair in the end! After I got a full coverage spray paint the rest was a piece of cake!!!

Capri Pants Refashioned into a Skirt

I found these wide-leg capris at my local Goodwill Bargain Barn for less than a $1 (they sell clothing by the pound). I loved the color and grabbed them, hoping they'd fit. The capris fit perfectly on my waist so I decided to refashion them into skirt. I recently ran across a pin on Pinterest from the blog 49 DRESSES that gave tutorial on how to refashion a skirt from shorts.
So I decided to create my own tutorial for capris/pants.
